Representing a combination between modern and tropical architecture. Standing proud with dominant roof, this house was inspired by local architecture which placing the roof as a dominant 'crown'. As a house privacy is very important, by designing 'flying' walls and playing with angles, this house could reach the privacy which the owner need while not only showing a modern boring boxes. Passive design like natural lighting and ventilation also playing a big role in here, tropical architecture also could be feel with the presence of large terraces and opening. Due to the vast site, this house has 4 different facades which show different characteristic with the material as its datum. An open space Mushalla is designed in front of the terrace to accomodate the need of the client who loves to invite children in the neighborhood for Praying and Learn to Shalat.
