Our landscape project is built in the thick of the Ubud jungle, with commanding views of lush rice paddies and a winding river. It is situated right at the edge of a valley with a small creek and a natural riverbed as its backyard. It is nestled quiet hidden, away from the bustling main road but still very reachable. The project consists of a hotel building and villa compounds. Other than that, the project presents a modern Balinese style with earth tone color and clean interior. We wanted the landscape to synergize with the architecture thus create harmony yet complement each other. Like in any of our project, we tell story through our design by incorporating local culture and heritage. In Tanadewa, guests can find various artworks scattered around the resort. The general concept for the softscape is a lush tropical garden. The approach was taken to reduce massive and rough impression of the building. A dense planting composition can also offer privacy for each villa. The arrangement and composition of all the elements truly echoes the ambience of Bali creating the ideal getaway for people that seek locality and tranquility.
