studiokian is Jakarta-based architectural and interior practice, both founder have been winning several prestigious competitions on both national and international scales since their university days. Moreover, studiokian got two awards from Ministry of Tourism in two years in row, in 2016 and 2017. For us, being able to “give” soul that reflects the value and purpose of a building is crucial. Further, we understand that bonding with the owner of the building is key to a satisfying result, that’s why we currently emphasize out focus on private residential. We favor designing complex spatial circulation while maintaining the appearance of simplicity. We believe that each project has its unique soul and identity, based on its function and potency -- then the beauty will follow. studiokian emphasizes the connection between nature and architecture. We believe that every space deserves natural light as well as healthy ventilation system, and that architecture has the capacity to change someone’s perspective of life -- to be more interesting and valuable. Architecture is the result of listening to our client and blending those insights into one soul -- technically and beautifully.
