The presence of a terrace or balcony in a residential house is not merely a complement to the facade of the building; it can also hold significant value for its inhabitants. In relation to the connection between the private interior spaces of the house and the semi-public exterior spaces, the terrace or balcony serves as a transitional area where the level of privacy can be adjusted based on its height relative to the street level.   In this project, balconies are elevated with direct access from activity spaces, including the entrance to the house, bedrooms, corridors, the master bedroom, and even the fitness room. The balcony in the master bedroom, facing the front, becomes a spot for the homeowner to enjoy the morning sunlight and the residential atmosphere in the afternoon when the sun has moved to the west side behind the building. Meanwhile, the balcony in the fitness room connects to the master bedroom, making exercise activities more convenient according to the homeowner's preferences.
