Description

This is a renovation project for a house that was designed by our principal. This house belongs to one of Indonesia’s Army members. The owner required more rooms in the house. Their children used to be in one room. As they are growing, they need larger space. So our main project is to provide one more children room and renovate their bathroom. The other rooms they wanted are extended master bedroom, living room, front guest room, and two outdoor gathering area. We designed the front living room as the additional box of the facade. It is built of the glass wall which has steel frame for each modul which some of them can be opened. The outdoor gathering areas are designed, covered by a glass canopy, to keep the indoor spaces showered by the sunlight. Every extended spaces are designed by considering the location of the opening to enlight the rooms.
