Description

Tirto village is a small area in Kasongan, Yogyakarta. a Village where land is dominated by steep land and spiny native bamboo trees. an Artist chose a 900m2 land in this area to build workshop, private studio, private residence and houses for rent. The first step in this design process is, how on a 15 meter wide and steep land, can accommodate all the functions that the client wants. Determining the location of each building function, the connection between buildings and accessibility is the main key in this design. The use of steel and iron structures is a solution for low cost buildings and fast work processes.
