This building uses contemporary organic layouts which combines both indoor and outdoor living. Set over four levels, the mass is broken down into various parts with elegant floating roof forms which create large overhangs to reduce solar glare into the building and allowing spaces to be used in most environmental conditions while remaining open. With framed views, open interiors awash with light, and a plethora of locally sourced natural materials, there becomes a strong connection with the surrounding nature. The residence provides to a lifestyle based on finer touches and decadence mixing this with appealing aspects such as infinity pools, relaxation areas, craftmanship and inspirational artistic features such as the play of geometries, light and shadow, textures and the transformations of one space to another. Functionally, a range of sustainable features are worked into the design such as water recycling, high insulation, a range of low carbon footprint materials, green roofs, low energy use applications and non rainforest hardwoods.
