    Cisitu house is located in North Bandung, Indonesia. It is sited in a scenic environment, mild tropical climate, and friendly neighbourhood. The aim on this site has to be unequivocal, this house tries to exemplify a method of sitting in a beautiful nature with less obstruction, and therefore lead to the mass that are arranged with a smaller block on the 1st storey and larger block on the 2nd storey. The main colours that are chosen are very limited, which based on the light grey, dark grey and ivory white, which give the house a pure contrast with the surrounding site, and yet it sits harmoniously. An honest display of materials and structure, high ceiling which creates high volume of space, and separation between daily activities on the 1st storey and private spaces on the 2nd storey for the occupants are mainly to strengthen the hierarchy of space and introducing a clear organization. The design process engaged in a very close notions of how the client’s has been using his or her previous house which in a way it is suited to their daily activities, yet through rigorous discussion with the client which has a peculiar taste brought us to several extra dimensions of how to incorporate art elements, furniture selections, and so forth. Cisitu house is underpinning the clients and architects shared intentions, common and uncommon that is leading the discussion to a corollary on the form making, which adds up the value within itself, not merely relying on the architect’s taste, but rather opening up the opportunity of new or creative idea through sharing ideas, both ideal or non-ideal way for clients and the architect.   Site area: 200 sqm Built-up Area: 210 sqm Contractor: Abah Rizwan Status: Commenced on October 201; Completed on November 2013
